Please Vote for our Guitarist Jason Wood!!! [Dec. 17th, 2008|06:36 am]
Our guitarist Jason has made it into the top 10 finalists in the Shred the Web Contest.

He is relying on getting as many votes as possible so that he can win the grand prize!!!

So please please please, take time to vote for him. If you did it in the first round, thank you so much, unfortunately we need you to vote again for him to win this time.

His name in the contest is olsonuf

You can sit back with a cup of tea, relax and watch him play a serene version of Stairway to Heaven, his hair is blowing in the wind a rather relaxing way I must say (lol) and then he has a beautiful guitar solo towards the end.

Please register on the page, it is VERY simple. You won't get any emails if you don't subscribe to anything.

Jens Borgen + Todesbonden [Aug. 28th, 2007|06:15 am]
I am happy to say that Jens Borgen (Opeth, Katatonia, Pain of Salvation, Soilwork, Daylight Dies) from Fascination Street Studios in Sweden is producing and mixing the upcoming Todesbonden album.

So far he is a very sweet guy with an excellent ear.

I found a little tiny picture of him:

Many of you on this list may not know the bands I listed above, however, I will just confirm that to me, it is a great honor.

Beyond just honor however, on a musical level, I love the work he has done on Daylight Dies and Katatonia (I haven't heard the most recent Opeth he has worked on or the others either)

So, I look forward to seeing what he does with Todesbonden, we are very different in style I think from other stuff he has produced.

I think that he may be done with mixing/producing by the end of this week. After that, I go to master the album here in Virginia.

If you want to hear his other work go here:

DRUMMER WANTED!!! [Jan. 26th, 2007|07:13 am]
Todesbonden (Prophecy Productions), is looking for a full time
drummer to join the crew. We have female vocals, violin, flute
guitar (heavy and acoustic styles), bass guitar and keys all we need
now is a permanent drummer to complete the lineup.

We are looking for someone who is easy to get along with, reliable,
and talented.

We have a practice space in Orion Studios in Baltimore, so personal
practice space is not necessary.

The style of music that we play has influences from World, Celtic,
metal, rock, classical and etherial styles. The final result has been
compared to Loreena McKennitt, The Gathering, Dead Can Dance
and Cirque du Soleil with a metal edge.

We are looking for someone who is diverse and proficient in double
bass. We have 50 plus minutes of music already written and our label
in Germany is currently waiting for us to record. We have well
attended show offers already on the table. So, please don’t hesitate

HOSTING WARNING STAY AWAY FROM DH2.NET [Dec. 11th, 2006|07:35 am]
[Current Mood | angry]

Do NOT buy your hosting/domain packages through a scam company called Dh2.net

They offer low prices, however, once you get with them they trap you in their services by not allowing you to buy hosting seperately from domain registration. The hosting package is connected directly with the domain address so if for some reason you are late on your domain payment (or even if you are NOT late) they sell your domain to a company enom.com and you can niether access your files from your hosting site, nor can you get back your hosting OR you domain.

Not only that, they sell your domain names a few days BEFORE your invoice due date, or on the day of the due date.

Enom.com tries to charge you over $200 dollars to get your domain back. It is a complete scam.

When you make complaints about their services they ignore all of your questions and concerns and respond with letter form pre-determined responses which many times are off topic of what you are saying.

If you go and look up www.todesbonden.com and www.palemoonrecords.com in Whois.net you will see that they are both now OWNED by Enom.com, that is because DH2.net sold it to them. However, they sold Todesbonden.com to them BEFORE the invoice due date (due date 12/13/06) and Todesbonden.net they sold ON the day of the invoice.

They are in either partnership with Enom.com or they own it. Either way, they are a scam company.

Does anyone know of any good internet scam lawyers? Is there anything that I can do to get this company?

thank you Nic for the information [Jun. 2nd, 2006|11:26 am]

About Amber, Amber Essence & Amber Resin

Amber Essence is a rare, precious and highly sought after scent that is shrouded in mystery. No one really seems to know exactly what amber resin is. In order to help clear up the confusion surrounding amber essence, amber resin and amber oil, we offer this information. Additionally, you will find specific information about Eden Botanicals' exclusive wholesale Amber Essence and our bulk Premium Dark Amber which we offer to our web customers and to wholesalers, resellers and manufacturers. Please click here for information on Amber Oil.

What is Amber?

The term amber generally refers to either Baltic amber or to fragrant amber resin. Baltic amber is fossilized tree resin and is used primarily in jewelry. Although it is often called "Baltic" amber it actually is found in many parts of the world. It is found in colors ranging from pale yellow to reddish, brown and green. Although it is not thought of as being fragrant, it is! In order to experience its balsamic aroma, take a piece of pure amber (not reconstituted) and shave off small pieces with a knife. This will release a faint aroma. Next take some small pieces and place them on a lit piece of charcoal. The resin will burn and release the fragrant smoke. Be sure not to burn reconstituted amber, which contains plastic polymers or synthetic resins.

The fragrant amber, such as Eden Botanicals' Amber Essence (Amber Essence is our trade name for our exclusive amber resin), is a semi-solid mass of tree resins or gums mixed with essential oils, bees wax and fragrant plant powders. Amber resin is not simply a resin that is tapped from a mysterious tree growing somewhere in the Himalayas! If it were there would be a pure amber essential oil, an amber absolute, or an amber co2 extract. Amber resin is always a blend of different ingredients from many different sources. Every manufacturer of amber, or amber oil uses a different blend of ingredients, hence the consistency and aroma varies considerably. Each amber resin maker uses his or her own, unique and secret formula.

We have decided that this is time to start to really look for artists for the upcoming Todesbonden "Ghost of the Crescent Moon" (Prophecy Productions/Germany) CD. We are going to be looking over many different artists work to decide. But we would really like someone that is naturally going in the style that we are looking for.

If you are interested or know someone who is please contact us here or email Laurie at Sylvanring@yahoo.com
